Good news for Boeing.

Korean Airlines has announced an order for 5 747-8 Intercontinental
aircraft.

So farm, the program has:
32 747-8 Pax
78 747-8 Freigh

First 747-8 pax is to be assembled mid 2010, first commercial delivery
expected fourth quarter 2011.

Is is just Korean and Lufthansa so far or is there another customer for
the the pax version of the 747-8 ?

Mr Ostrower thinks that there will be another order shortly:

Hover over "airliner customer" in the last line
--> "Cathay Pacific"

Some have observed that Lufthansa and Korean are jointly (future) users of
A380 _and_ B747-8i.

The only airline customers. There are apparently a number of VIP
747-8's on order.
